was the first time we met (Ruth's first class of Graduate School, Tim's last
class). A few weeks into the semester
we began hanging out after class for a couple of hours talking in the
Economic's Graduate Student Lounge. |
December
11, 2000 |
Tim
came to my apartment and ordered a pepperoni pizza from Pizza Hut. We watched Boston Public and Ally McBeal
and played You Don't Know Jack on the computer. |
December
18, 2000 |
First,
we went to Macaroni Grill in OKC, afterwards, we drove around Bricktown. We went to the OKC Bombing Memorial- it
was so cold. But it was also
peaceful. |
December
19, 2000 |
First,
we went to Unbreakable (film). While
the movie was disappointing, we had a good time. After the movie we watched Austin Powers at my apartment. |

21, 2000 |
We
went to the Library (bar) and got a pizza.
After, we went back to my apartment and watched David Letterman. We ended up having a heart to heart. I seriously did not expect to hear from
you again. |

24, 2000 |
On
my way home to Arkansas, you called me as I was approaching the Bobby Hopper
Tunnel (you were very surprised Arkansas had a tunnel). I was glad to hear from you. |

31, 2000- January 1, 2001 |
We
watched Muppet movies all night.
Let's see, there was Muppets from Space, Muppet Treasure Island, and
the Original Muppet Movie. Are you a
whatever? |
January
5, 2001 |
We
went to Dallas to get your car plates and driver's license. After finishing chores, we went to Dallas
and rode the train to the West End.
We went to Planet Hollywood.
On the way, we ran into some guys selling roses. |

18, 2001 |
To
celebrate my birthday and one fabulous month- you sent me a dozen of the most
beautiful red roses at work at the International Programs Center. It definitely made me feel special. |
January
19-21, 2001 |
Friday
we went to the Olive Garden. Saturday
we went to The Family Man (film) at the theatre in Yukon. After we went to dinner on Garth Brooks
Blvd. We drove around and you showed
me your high school, church, accident sites, etc. Sunday,
you and your parents came to Norman and we all went to the Sooner
Championship Celebration - Boomer! Sooner! |

26, 2001 |
The
weather was turning bad and if you came to OKC, you would have missed work. So, I came to Dallas. You had dinner ready (and strawberry wine). |
February
2-4, 2001 |
I
came to Dallas, we and my brother and his wife (John and Melody) all went to
see the Harlem GlobeTrotters.
Afterwards, we went to TGIFridays.
Saturday we went to Don Puablos and hung around your apartment. Sunday we went to Abundant Life
Church. After church, we ate at
Chili's and then visited local Wal-Marts.
That's where I met my Wal-Mart hero, Rick Fresh Asst. Mgr. However, we did find a really good fudge
shop. |
February
9-11, 2001 |
Friday
we went to see Sugar and Spice (film)… it was funny. In the morning we hung out at my
apartment. Sunday we went to church
with your family. Afterwards, we went
to lunch at Urbania. We spent the
afternoon with them at your house.
(What was to be the beginning of a year and a half of Sunday
afternoons so spent). |
